Allah chooses His Messengers from among angels, and from among men. Surely, Allah is All- Hearing, All-Seeing. (Chapter 22 Verse 76)
This verse outlines the sunnah of Allah and His way. He Has clearly Stated that He Chooses Messengers from among the angels and from among men and the Arabic makes t clear that He would continue to Do This. The Arabic word used here is “Yastafi” which in Arabic is referred to as “Mudari”. This refers to a present and future tense rather than a past tense situation alone. If this verse only referred to the verb in the past tense rather than future and present tense, Allah would have used the word “Istafa” instead of “Yastafi”.
It is clear that this is the law of Allah and we know from the Qur’an that never will we find a change in the law of Allah. Allah states:
Such has been the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away before, and thou wilt never find a change in the way of Allah.(Chapter 33 Verse 63)
Allah also states:
Such is the law of Allah that has been in operation before; and thou shalt not find any change in the law of Allah.(Chapter 48 Verse 24)
This is just another law of Allah and never will we find a change in it. Some non Ahmadis try to say that does this mean a law bearing prophet can come? However this itself is a question that makes no sense as Allah has revealed the Qur’an and the Qur’an is the perfect book. The Qur’an has clearly stated:
Forbidden to you is the flesh of an animal which dies of itself, and blood and the flesh of swine; and that on which is invoked the name of one other than Allah; and that which has been strangled; and that beaten to death; and that killed by a fall; and that which has been gored to death; and that of which a wild animal has eaten, except that which you have properly slaughtered; and that which has been slaughtered at an altar. And forbidden is alsothat you seek to know your lot by the divining arrows. That is an act ofdisobedience. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of harming your religion. So fear them not, but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion. But whoso is forced by hunger, without being wilfully inclined to sin, then, surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.(Chapter 5 Verse 4)
Allah has made it clear that Islam is the Final Religion and that the religion is complete. Also remember that Ahmadis have not added anything to Islam nor did the Promised Messiah Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) change anything. Everything he did was prophesied, in fact his coming was even prophesied.
