Hazrat Isa عليه السلام

Death of Jesus عليه السلام

This section deals with the proofs from the Holy Qur’an and The Ahadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in regards to the death of Jesus عليه السلام. One of the primary differences between the Ahmadi Muslims in comparison to the Non Ahmadi Muslims is that we believe that Jesus عليه السلام has died a natural death, while the Non Ahmadis believe he is alive in the heavens.

The truth is that there is not a single evidence to prove that Jesus عليه السلام is alive. One should remember that Ahmadi Muslims are indeed believers in the coming of a latter day Messiah but it is proven from Qur’an and The Ahadith that it would be someone who would resemble Jesus عليه السلام rather than be the same Messiah who was sent to the Children of Israel and has died according to the Qur’an and Ahadith.
