Qur’anic Verses Revealed

The allegation of the non Ahmadi Muslims is that verses of the Qur’an were revealed to Ahmadas and that this is not Islamic. This is a baseless allegation and shows the ignorance of these so called scholars.

Firstly, the ones who believe Isaas is alive and  that he will descend to spread the message of Islam, are forced to also believe that he would be given knowledge about Islam from Allah through revelation. Now if that Messiah was to descend, it would be a must for Allah to teach him the entire Qur’an through revelation or else how would he be able to spread the teachings of Islam? If Allah would not reveal it to him, who would he learn from? Deobandis or Barelwis? Ahle Hadith or Wahabis? No matter who teaches him, the opposing sects will declare him to be a disbeliever and claim that he is only a messiah of their sect and not ours. Now if they are forced to believe that Allah would reveal the entire Qur’an if Jesus sent to Bani Israel would return, why raise an objejction against a couple of verses revealed to Ahmadas?

Furthermore, the scholars of the non Ahmadi Muslims themselves who are well respected saints were also revealed Quranic verses. Do the non Ahmadi Muslims dare to call them liars as well?

Khawaja Mir Dard of Delhi has stated that he was revealed verses of the Qur’an in his book Il Al Kitab under Tahdees Ni’mat ar Rabb:

“Warn thy near relatives.” (The Quran, 26:215)

“Say: Allah is sufficient for me.” (39:39)

“Be steadfast as thou art commanded, and follow not their low desires.” (42:16)

“Grieve thou not for them, nor be distressed because of what they plan.” (27:71)

“Did He not find thee groping, and guided thee.” (93:8) ( ‘Ilm al-Kitab, pp. 61 – 64.)

From the Holy Qur’an, it is evident that the Attributes of Allah are Eternal. Allah the Almighty States:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ {31} نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ {32} نُزُلًا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحِيمٍ {33}

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying: ‘Fear ye not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the Garden that you were promised. ‘We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that your souls will desire, and therein you will have all that you will ask for — ‘An entertainment from the Most Forgiving, the Merciful.’ (Chapter 41 Verses 31-33)

In this these verses, Allah States that the angels reveal these words to the believers, which are Qur’anic verses.

We see the same in the authentic ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad(sa). He (sa) stated :

أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى عِيسَى

Meaning, that “Allah will reveal to the latter-day Messiah.” (Sahih Muslim Hadith #2937a)

The well-respected scholars of Islam have also said the same. Hazrat Sheikh-e-Akbar, Muhyuddin Ibn Arabirh  states:

و كذلك تنزّل القرآن على قلوب الأولياء ما انقطع مع كونه محفوظا لهم و لكن لهم ذوق الإنزال و هذا لبعضهم

Meaning that “The Qur’an being revealed on the Auliya of  Allah is not cut off. Rather, it is safeguarded with them and to make them taste the enjoyment of nuzul-e-Qura’an (meaning the enjoyment of verses coming down), it is also revealed to them. And this is revealed only to some Auliya” (Fatuhat-e-Makiyya)

Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilanirh one of the most famous saints of Islam has said that if you excel in goodness, then Allah will Give you so much respect, that Allah will Address you by revealing the following words from the 54th verse of Surah Yusuf:

إِنَّكَ الْيَوْمَ لَدَيْنَا مَكِينٌ أَمِينٌ

“Thou art this day a man of established position and trust with us” (Chapter 12 Verse 55) (Futuh-ul-Ghaib, The Nineteenth Discourse, Page 63)

Hazrat Allama Sharanirh has stated:

فيرسل وليا ذا نبوة مطلقة ويلهم بشرع محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم

“The latter-day Messiah will get revelation of the Shariah of Muhammadsa”. (Al Yawaqit wa Jawahir)

Maulvi Abdullah Ghaznavi who was another Indian Saint near the time of Ahmadas stated that he received verses as well:

“Send peace and blessings upon him.” (The Quran 33:57)

“And soon thy Lord will give thee so that thou art well pleased.” (93:6)

“Have We not expanded for thee thy bosom.” (94:2)

“Is not God sufficient for His servant.” (39:37)

“He is only a servant upon whom We bestowed favours.” (43:60)

He also received the following revelation

“Thou art from Me and I am from Thee. So fear not nor grieve.” (Biography of Maulavi Abdullah Ghaznavi by Maulavi Abdul Jabbar Ghaznavi, pp. 10 – 11)

Hazrat Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilanirh has stated: “Woe unto you, O innovator! Does God not have the power to say: I am God. Our God, great is His glory, is a speaker, and not dumb. His word is heard and understood.”(Al-Fath ar-Rabbani, p. 153)

He also states:“When you attain perfection in fana [annihilation], your rank near God will be raised, and you will be addressed in the words: This day you are with us, a dignified, trusted one.”(Futuh al-Ghaib, with Persian commentary, Discourse no. 28, p. 171) (Referring to Chapter 12 Verse 55)

He further states:  The words wa-stana‘tu-ka li-nafsi (I have chosen thee especially for Myself), which are in the Quranic verse 20:41, were revealed to Abdul Qadir Jilani several times. (ibid., p. 33)

It is also an allegation that “In a Misconception Removed” Ahmadas states:

“In the same book, close upon the above Divine Communication, is this Divine revelation:

مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are hard against the disbelievers, tender amongst themselves. (Chapter 48 Verse 30)

In which I have been named ‘Muhammad’ as well as ‘Mesenger’.” (A Misconception Removed Page 2)

There is nothing wrong with Qur’an being revealed on a person, rather it shows their truthfulness. When we go to Tazkiratul Auliya it states a saying of Hazrat Abu al Hasan Kharqanirh who is widely respected as a pious Muslim Saint:

“I am God of this age. I am Mustafa of this age” (Tadhkiratul Auliya, page 585)

Furthermore, Hazrat Abu Yazid Bustamirh stated when asked by someone:

‘What is ‘arsh. He said, I am that. He asked, what is Kursi. He replied, I am that. People said that there have been many righteous servants of God such as Abraham, Moses and the Holy Prophet. He said, I am all of them. They, then, asked about the angels Gabriel, Michael, Israfeel and Izraeel. He said, I am all of them as well.’”(Tadhkiratul Aulia Chapter 14 page 146)

This is another sign of the truthfulness of Ahmadas for the non Ahmadi Muslims  who follow saints that had similar revelations. Either they should accept both recipients of revelation or reject both. It is obvious that they will have to accept both if they are truthful.
