Hadhrat Ahmad (as) and Allegations on him

Death Allegation: https://www.instagram.com/p/BKNjkl7AVli/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

The biggest lie anti Ahmadis claim is that Ahmad (as) died an accursed death. This is the allegation that fuels me up. Wallahi it is a complete lie. Some ask why they say this? Well so the topic goes away from Quran and sunnah as they never want that. Secondly many prophets were mocked of this.
Allah says in the Quran that prophets are mocked in similar ways. The holy prophet (saw) is mocked for an accursed death of poison which is also a lie against our beloved. Hazrat Isa (as) is mocked for dying a death on the cross God forbid which is also accursed and totally false. Ahmad (as) being the second coming of the messiah is also mocked in the same ways.
Is there anything wrong in being sick while you’re in your last days? Of course not. Ahadith show that Hazrat Ayesha said that I’ve never seen someone as sick as the Prophet (saw) during his last days (Bukhari). Holy The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.”(Bukhari)
Furthermore they lie that Ahmad(as) passed away of cholera. This also totally false. He passed away because of old age and weakness which is the same way all prophets have passed away and many saints as well.

First Ring of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BRfyIDZj44t/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • The first ring of the Promised Messiah(as) was madd after the death of his father. He (as) stated:
“In a dream I had been warned that his death was approaching. I was then in Lahore and has- tened to Qadian. He was suffering from dysentery, but I had no apprehension whatsoever that he would die the day after my arrival. In fact, there had been some changes for the better in his condition, and he could even sit for long hours. The following day, we were all with him at noon
when he kindly suggested that I should go to have some rest, for it was the month of June and the heat was intense. I retired into an upper room and a servant began to knead my feet. Presently I fell into a light slumber and then came to me the revelation:
    وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ

that is, We call to witness the heaven where all the decrees originate, and we call to witness that misfortune which will fall today after sunset.‘ ―I was given to understand that this revelation was by way of commiseration on behalf of God Almighty, as my father would unfortunately die that very day after sunset. Holy is Allah! How glorious is the Great God that He commiserates on the death of a person who died sorrowing over his wasted life! Most people would be surprised at this interpretation of mine, that God Almighty commiserated with me. It should, however, be remembered that when God, glorified be His Name, treats someone mercifully, He deals with him like a friend. We read in the traditions that on a certain occasion God Almighty laughed. This also is a similar kind of expression. ―To sum up, when I received this revelation, which presaged the death of my father, the thought passed through my mind, because I was only a human, that some of the means of income which were linked to my father would now be closed and we might be confronted with all sorts of difficulties. Thereupon I received another revelation, that is to say,
    اليس الله بكاف عبده

Is not Allah sufficient for His servant?‘

  • “This revelation conveyed great comfort and satisfaction to me and it firmly fixed itself in my heart like an iron nail. I swear by God Almighty in Whose Hand is my life that He has fulfilled His comforting revelation in a manner that was beyo- nd my imagination. I have been the recipient of His continuous bounties, which I find impossible to deny. ―My father died the same day after sunset. This was the first day on which I experienced a sign of

was the first day on which I experienced a sign of Divine Mercy through revela- tion concerning which I cannot imagine that I would ever cease to have effect during my lifetime. I had the words of the revelation carved on a semi-precious stone and set it in a ring, which I have with me securely. Nearly 40 years of my life passed under the care of my father, and with departure from this life, I began to receive Divine revelation continuously and abundantly” (Kitabul Bariyyah, Roohani Khaza‟in Vol. 3 p. 162- 195)

Second Ring of Hadhrat Ahmad(as) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BRfyyL5jgKe/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

In 1892, a second ring was made which had the following revelation of the Promised Messiah(as): اُذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِيَ الّتِىْ اَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكَ
غَرَسْتُ لَكَ بِيَدِيْ رَحْمَتِىْ و قُدْرَتِىْ

which means ―Remember My bounty on you – I cultivated you with My Own Hands, with My Mercy and Divine Power.

Third Ring of Hadhrat Ahmad(as) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BRfzQKtDICk/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

The third ring was made in 1906 by a sincere gold-smith family from the District of Sialkot. This family sent a message to The Promised Messiah(as) and they wished to make a ring for him and they inquired as to what should be written on it. The Messiah(as) advised that the inscription re: “Maula Bus”

which means ―God is sufficient

Cruel Ruler : https://www.instagram.com/p/BYn-ao6nyRu/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

If the Ruler is a cruel person, you should not go about talking ill of him; you should try to reform yourselves and make yourselves better in every way. God will remove him or make him a better man. Whatever hardship a man passes through, it is the outcome of his own evil deeds. Otherwise so far as a believer is concerned, God is with him. God Himself provides him with everything. My advice to you is that you should become a model of every virtue. You should neither be negligent in doing your duty to God nor you should be negligent in doing your duty to your fellow beings” (Malfuzat, Volume 2, Page 298)

Live Humble Lives: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYtO04QBeOP/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

“The greatest worry for my followers should be for the fear of God, and whether they have it or not.
A condition for the Fear of God is that those who have it should live humble lives. This is one aspect of the fear of God through which we have to combat the undue anger. In fact, to avoid anger is the last step on the ladder of those who recognise God well and who are Siddique, The Truthful. It is the anger that produces pride and at times it is the pride that produces anger, for, the anger is displayed when one feels superior to others. I do not like that my followers should take one another as lower or higher, or that they should show pride by taking others to be inferior. only God knows who is great or small. This kind of distinction (if made by the people) is a sort of insult which is based on hatred and it is feared that this hatred might germinate like a seed and then ruin the person .They are very courteous when they meet the big people but the fact is that big is he who attends to the poor in humility and consoles him, honours his word and does not utter anything that might offend the man. God says:
Do not call one another with bad names; it is an evil act. He who offends someone with a bad name, will not pass out of this world, till he finds himself involved in it. Do not take your brothers as inferior; all of you drink from the same fountain. Who knows as to who will be lucky enough to drink more than others. Nobody can be honourable and great by the worldly principles. Great in the sight of God is he who fears God more (Muttaqi) (Malfuzat, Volume 1, Page 34)

God Treats His Favourites As Friends: https://www.instagram.com/p/BdrEf3Pnqjt/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

It is true that most of the prayers of those who are accepted of God are accepted. Indeed, their great miracle is the acceptance of their prayers. When their hearts are sorely distressed at a time of misfortune and in their distress they turn to God, at that time their hand becomes, as it were, the hand of God. God is a hidden treasure. Through His perfect favourites He displays His countenance. –
God’s signs are displayed when His favourites are persecuted. When they are persecuted to the extreme that is an indication that the sign of God is near and indeed it is at the door. No one loves his son so much as God loves those who become wholly His. He displays His wonders for them and manifests such power on their behalf as if a sleeping tiger wakes up. God is hidden and these are the people who make Him manifest. He is behind a thousand veils and these are the people who display His countenance.

But it needs to be remembered that it is a wrong notion that every prayer of those who are God’s favourites is accepted. The truth is that the dealing of God Almighty with them is like that of a friend; sometimes He accepts their prayers and sometimes He imposes His will upon them. That is what happens in friendship. At one time, a friend accepts what his friend proposes and acts accordingly, and at another time makes him accept what he himself wishes. At one place in the Holy Qur’an God promises acceptance of the prayers of believers saying:
ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
That is, Pray to Me, I shall accept your prayer.
And at another place instructs them to accept His determination with pleasure. It is said:
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ {156} الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ {157}

And We will try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives, and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient, who, when a misfortune overtakes them, say: Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.’—Al-Baqarah, 2:156–157 (Haqiqatul wahi Page 20-21)

Do Good to Everybody: https://www.instagram.com/p/BeitcK_n8in/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) stated “You should also treat you relatives very kindly, for, they have rights over you. Of course, those who are not Muttaqi and are engrossed in innovations and association of others with God, and oppose me, should not be followed in prayers (they should not be your imams), though they should be treated nicely.

My principle is that we should do good to everybody. He who cannot do any good to the people in this world cannot expect any reward in the next world. That is why you should think good of everybody. Of course, there should be no mingling in the religious affairs. Just as a physician diagnoses and treats everybody, be he a Hindu or a Christian, so also you should follow the principle of doing good to all…(Malfuzat, Volume 3, Page 319)

Name of Mahdi: https://www.instagram.com/p/BmwD7ngHyr9/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Many ask about the prophecies concerning the name of the Imam Mahdi and say that the name of the Mahdi would be Muhammad ibn Abdullah. They say his father’s name was to be Abdullah and the name of his mother would be Amina. They also say that he would be of Arab lineage.

There are many things which must be clarified here. Firstly, in Mecca, a person who had the name Muhammad, and the name of his mother was Amina, and the name of his father was Abdullah, and he made the claim to being Imam Mahdi. All should have accepted him according to the non Ahmadi logic. However, what happened? He ended up being killed and was not even able to make it out of Mecca.

In regards to the narrations of the Imam Mahdi, there is not only one name mentioned. He has many names according to the traditions. Since he has so many names, it shows that these are in reality attributive names. Imagine, a person is named Abdullah, and he marries Amina, and names his son Muhammad. Would he be accepted as the Imam Mahdi? Of course not. –
One of the name of the Prophet Muhammad (sa) was Ahmad as well and since Hadhrat Ahmad(as) was true lover of the Prophet Muhammad (sa), he also had this name. In fact, Hadhrat Ahmad(as) also had the name of Muhammad in a spiritual sense, as the Qur’an prophesied that the Prophet Muhammad (sa) would have a second coming, who is none other than the Promised Messiah. The sahaba asked how the Prophet (sa) would come again and the Prophet (sa) explained that it would be a spiritual second coming of a man from Persian Lineage. In fact, Qur’an also shows us that the latter day reviver would be named Ahmad. Imam Mahdi also has the names Messiah, Dhul Qarnain, Muhammad, and Ahmad. Shias also give him the name Al Qa’im, meaning the riser. In fact one narration tells us that he would have names of every prophet since he would have qualities of all Prophets. The Qur’an also tells us this. Allah States: And when the Messengers are made to appear at the appointed time —(Chapter 77 Verse 12) –
  • The hadith states:
“The Imam Mahdi will say: ‘O ye people, if any of you wishes to behold Ibrahim and Ishmael, then let him note that I am Ibrahim and Ishmael. If any of you desires to behold Moses and Joshua, then let him note that I am Moses and Joshua. If any of you desires to see Isa and Simon, then let him note I am Isa and Simon. If any of you desires to behold Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, peace and blessings of Allah be on him, and Ameerul Momineen Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, then let him note that I am Muhammad Mustafa, peace and blessings of Allah be on him, and Ameerul Momineen Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.”(Baharul Anwar, Vol. XIII, p. 209)

Never Think ill of Anyone:  https://www.instagram.com/p/BeiulXtHxzp/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) stated: “The habit of suspiciousness and thinking ill of others is an affliction which makes a person blind and plunges him into the dark pit of ruin. It is this unfortunate trait which brought about the worship of a dead human being. It is the same trait which alienates people from the Divine attributes of creation, mercy, providence, etc., reducing God to a useless entity—God forbid. It would be no exaggeration to state that it is in consequence of this habit that the greater part, indeed the whole, of hell will be filled. Those who think ill of the Commissioned ones of God Almighty scorn His bounties and His grace.”[Malfuzat, vol. 1, p. 100] –
The habit of thinking ill is a great curse which consumes faith as quickly as blazing fire consumes tinder. God becomes the enemy of him who thinks ill of God’s Messengers and He stands up to fight him. He entertains such jealousy on behalf of His chosen ones, as has no equal. When I was attacked in diverse ways, the same jealousy of God was roused on my behalf. [Al-Wasiyyat, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 20, p. 317, footnote]

Man is Created Weak: https://www.instagram.com/p/Beo3YlqHBht/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Noboday can do anything without the grace and help of God, but when man is drawn towards Him and gets self annihilated in His Being, he does the kind of things that can be called God’s work and then excellent lights begin to shine on him.
.
So far as the weakness of the man is concerned, it is almost limitless. He cannot move even one step without the grace and the help of God. I am quite confident that if he is not helped by God, he cannot even tie his trousers after easing himself. The Physicians say that there is a disease which kills the man through sneezing (the man sneezes and he is no more)
.
The fact that man is a collection of weaknesses and that is why God says:
“Man has been created weak”
.
There is nothing that lies in his hands. He has not got as many parts of his body as he has got diseases. He being a target of so many weaknesses, his security lies in nothing but in his being straight forward with his God. He should become His true and sincere servant and for this he must adopt perfect truthfulness. Even the physical system depends upon truthfulness. Those who abandon it and make falsehood their shield are very much mistaken. It is quite possible that somebody may have temporary gain by telling lies but it is sure that it blackens the heart and he is eaten up from within as the white ants eat up things from within. One has to tell many lies to cover up one lie which has to be given a tinge of truth. Thus his moral and spiritual talents are eroded from within and he reaches a stage where he begins to fabricate against God and belies His Messengers; he is then marked by God as an unjust person, as He says:
“Who is more unjust than the person who fabricates lies against God”
(Malfoozat, Volume 1 Page 352)

Mutual Love and Sympathy: https://www.instagram.com/p/BerH9lNH9qz/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) stated:”I have spoken about the unity and mutual love among the members of the Jamaat many a time, and I have been telling you that you should remain united and have mutual concord. This is what God had instructed Muslims to do. He had commanded them to be like one person otherwise they would become weak and the people would know of it. The Muslims have been instructed to stand shoulder to shoulder while praying in congregation and that also is meant to achieve unity. The good of one penetrates into the other like the electric current. If there are dissensions instead of unity, that would ultimately bring bad luck.

The Holy Prophet (saw) has said: “You should love one another. You should pray for one another in absence of others. If somebody prays for another person who is not present, the Angel says : Let this prayer be accepted in your favour also: How wonderful it is. If the prayer of the man who is praying is not accepted the Angel’s prayer will.

I advise you that there should be no dissension among you.

I have come with only two points: One, you should firmly believe in the Oneness of God, and two, you should inculcate mutual love and sympathy. You should live the kind of life that will be no less than a miracle. That is the change that the companions of the Holy Prophet had effected in their lives. As Allah States “You were enemies, then He brought your hearts together”

You should remember that this bringing of the hearts close to one another is a miracle. Keep it in view that unless every one of you like for his brother what he likes for himself, you cannot be a member of my Jamaat. Such a person is undergoing a trial and his end is not going to be good” (Malfuzat Volume 2, Page 48)

If you do have problems with others, always apologize first. Even if you are not at fault, you apologizing will bring about great blessings from the heavens! May Allah keep us all united and remove any hatred between us and keep us away from ill speech ameen!

The Faith of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BetXYqHnH9K/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

The beautiful faith of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) itself proves him to be truthful. Subhan Allah this brings shivers! He states: “I very strongly believe that God does not let the righteous servant of His go to waste. If such a person is thrown into the fire as was done to Hadhrat Ibrahim(as) the fire cannot burn him; I believe that not only one fire, even if there be a thousand fires they cannot burn him If a truthful person is thrown into it, he will definitely be saved. If the opponents of the Task that has been assigned to me throw me into the fire, I am full of certainty that the fire will not be able to burn me: If I am thrown into the cage of lions, they will not be able to devour me. I tell you with confidence that our God is not the God who should not be able to help His truthful servant; rather our God is that powerful God who creates a distinction between His servants and their opponents. Had that not been the case, prayer would have been something meaningless. I tell you the truth that whatever I say about God, His powers are tens of millions of times more than that.” (Malfuzat, Volume 3, Page 290)

The Grace of God: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bev9j7uHo9v/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad(as) states:
“God is my witness – and who else is a better witness than God- that I started studying the Christian literature at the age of sixteen or seventeen; not even for a split moment have I ever been impressed by the objections that they raise (about Islam). This really is the Grace of God. The more I study those objections, the more futility of these writings becomes clear to me and the more the grandeur of the Holy Prophet(saw) gets established in my heart, and the more I advance in the love of this noble Prophet.

I have pondered over this matter and have come to the conclusion that anything to which they object – be it an act of the Holy Prophet(saw) or a verse of the Holy Qur’an- therein lies a great treasure of Truth and Wisdom. The people with bad nature and impure hearts point accusing fingers to these things.

Listen to me! A man cannot be a perfect believer unless by nature he becomes averse to the objections raised by the opponents. And one cannot reach that stage of faith unless he stays in the company of the righteous person who has been sent to the world to give their faith back to the people. Unless a man has got his faith back, he must stay with this righteous person; to go away from him is to do something unlawful. It is so because this man is like a child in the lap of his mother and he can take only milk that the mother gives; if this child goes away from the mother, he is sure to die within a short time” (Malfuzat, Volume 2, page 259)

In the Remembrance of Allah Hearts Find Comfort: https://www.instagram.com/p/BhEyo3Kn8Xe/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Allah States in the Qur’an: ‘Those who believe, and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Aye! It is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort; (13:29)

Many ask how to attain inner peace. Firstly, this verse always comes to mind and is such a beautiful verse which is full of truth. We see that in the would we live in, many turn to the world and only want to attain the goods of this world. As they go for the world, they want more and more. Their hunger becomes greater and there is a consequent burning in their hearts. However, those who seek God, the more they turn to Him, the greater their comfort and peace of mind. This shows us that the search after God is the innermost yearning of human nature and the real goal of our lives, is to find God and through this, we will In sha Allah enjoy perfect peace of mind as if we are resting in the Lap of our Beloved

Have a relationship with Allah. Some stress comes from worldly reasons, and because of this mental illness is increasing. Less cases are of people who become fanatic or become extreme in their faith and become radical. However that is a minimum. Generally, its those who are worldly, and when they get frustrated they fall into depression. Parents sometimes get depressed over their children as well. Some over money matters. The true cure is that have faith in Allah and ask from Him. Have a relationship with Him. This is only the first part and the world needs it. For this reason the Prophet(saw) said when you see the world in someone, do not be jealous of him in trying to achieve that. But look at the religion and try to reach that level so you can have a relationship with God. This is a cure which is brought by the Prophets and it’s what Islam teaches. Hadhrat Ahmad(as) also came to connect mankind to their creator.

This is not something which fixes overnight. The society has corrupted so much and there are so many desires, frustrations, and worries. Sometimes religious people also get stressed because they see that people are far from Allah and are ruining their lives. For this reason the Holy Prophet(sa) was stressed for the people and not the world.

  • As Allah States:

Then perhaps you would grieve yourself to death over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow. (18:6) –
He was worried and naturally had the desire that the world should be guided. However worldly depression is different. Once a mom came to Hadhur in regards to her depression with her son. Hadhur asked the mother and the son questions and they said nothing. I saw the son and said you’re the reason for her depression and she cried and said yes he is the reason. These things happen. This is our duty as Ahmadi Muslims. We have to show people that God is living and that we must put our faith in him
  • However at the same time, at times it is also important to get medical treatment if you see no change at all and it helps as well. Sometimes ones condition can be at an extreme level where they have a certain illness in the mind as well which medicine can cure and I know many who have been cured. The medical treatments are also from Allah and for mankind to use. Sometimes you will however realize that many people have the mentality to label anything depression when it is not. Islam teaches us to plan and pray and therefore treatment is permissible. –
Some people also face anxiety problems. The cure Islam gives for anxiety is tahajjud prayers. Hadhur (aba) stated that research has shown that those who pray tahajjud have much less chances of anxiety. This does not mean you won’t get anxiety, however these are ways to reduce the chances. Tabligh is also a great way to be more happy as you speak to the world and really see the beauty of Ahmadiyyat. In the end, I pray that Allah Helps us all in our trials and Helps us attain His nearness. I have done many other posts on the cure of difficulties and trials and those can be read for more detail.

British Agent? : https://www.instagram.com/p/BhUTGxCH46K/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • The allegation on Hadhrat Ahmad(as) was that he was God forbid a agent of the British. Firstly, this allegation was raised on Hadhrat Shuaib (as) as well (11:92-93). It is just another false allegation. Since the anti Ahmadis have no argument from the Qur’an and sunnah, they are forced to mock the character of the Promised Messiah(as). The first question they should ask themselves is why would the British hire someone who was ending their faith through arguments and heavenly signs? Would that make any sense? Why would they hire someone who spent day and night defending the religion of Islam and brought many Muslims back into the fold of Islam? How would this have helped them in any way? Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (saw) made it clear that in the 14th century of Hijri, the Messiah would come. Where is that Messiah? Do you believe God forgot and accidentally sent a British agent God forbid? The anti Ahmadis really need to fear Allah before blindly following the allegations of their scholars.

    Allah States in the Qur’an:
    هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ {61}
The reward of goodness is nothing but goodness (Chapter 55 Verse 61) –
Therefore, if the British did help the Muslims they deserve to be thanked and should not be hated in reply to their goodness rather be respected and given credit for their good works. The Holy Prophetsaw stated: –
    حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ “‏ لاَ يَشْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَنْ لاَ يَشْكُرُ النَّاسَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ Narrated Abu Hurairah:The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah.(Sunan Abi Dawud Hadith #4811)
  • Hadhrat Ahmad(as) states: “So, be advised, O you who are uninformed! I do not indulge in any flattery of this government. Rather, in the light of the Holy Qur’an, it is prohibited to wage a religious war against a government which does not itself interfere in the religion of Islam or religious practices – nor does it draw its sword against us in an attempt to promote its own religious beliefs. The reason for that is that this government is not waging any religious war.” (Kishti-e-Nuh, Footnote 68)

    He states:
“The world does not recognize me, but He Who has sent me does know me.It is an error on the part of those – indeed it is their misfortune – who wish to see my destruction. I am the tree which has been planted by the Lord God with His own hands… O, ye People! You must understand this for sure that I am accompanied by that Hand which shall remain faithful to me till the end of time. If your men and your women, and your young and your old, and your insignificant ones and your notables all commit themselves to praying for my destruction – so much so that your noses get withered and wasted away due to your endless prostrations, and your hands become numb, even then God would certainly not accept your prayers, and he would not stop until He fulfills His decree…So, do not wrong your souls. The faces of liars can be discerned as something different altogether, and the countenances of the truthful ones are quite distinguishable. God does not leave any matter undecided…Just as God eventually decided at one time to another, between the previous Divinely appointed ones and the false claimants, similarly He will decide upon this matter presently at hand. There are seasons apposite to the advent of the Divinely appointed ones, and there are seasons apposite to their departure: do mark it for sure, that I have neither made an appearance out of season, nor shall my exit be out of season. Do not be pitted against God! It is not in your mettle to compass my ruin. (Tohfa-e-Golarviyyah, Ruhani Khazain Volume 17 page 12-13)
  • Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas states: “This Government safeguards the lives and the properties of the Muslims and provides them with security against the attack of every wrongdoer… I have not embarked upon this enterprise out of any fear of Government or in the hope of any reward from it. All I have done is in accordance with the divine command and the command of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.”(Nurul Haq, Part I, p.30) –
And: “I do not flatter the Government as some ignorant ones imagine because I desire a return from the Government. On the contrary, I consider it just and a duty on account of my faith to express gratitude to the Government.” (Tableegh Risalat, Vol. X, p.123)

    This allegation is completely false.

Make Peace Between Each Other : https://www.instagram.com/p/BhmySTvnepq/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) states: “O ye people who consider yourselves members of my community! You will be counted as such in heaven when you truly tread upon the ways of righteousness. So, offer the five daily prayers in such fear and with such complete attention as though you were actually beholding God Almighty. Sincerely observe your fasts for the sake of God. Let everyone who is liable to pay the Zakat do so and anyone upon whom the Hajj has become obligatory and who face no hindrance ought to perform the pilgrimage. Do good in a handsome manner and discard vice with disgust. Bear well in mind that no action of yours, which is empty of righteousness, can reach God. Righteousness is the root of all goodness. No action that is rooted in righteousness will go in vain. It is inevitable that you should also be tried with various forms of anguish and misfortune, just as the faithful before you were tried. Be on your guard, lest you should falter.” (Noah’s Ark, Page 26)

Likeness of Hadhrat Maryam (as) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BcQBvaPH3PX/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • One of the most popular allegations of the non Ahmadi Muslims, is that they say Hadhrat Ahmad(as) claimed to be “pregnant” God Forbid. These are such old allegations and in reality mock at the Holy Qur’an, the Holy Prophet (saw) , his sahaba and the saints of Islam as well. –

Before beginning this explanation, it is important to understand that the Holy Prophet(saw) used the title of Jesus and Mary for those who were pure. It is stated in Bukhari that all children are born with the touch of Satan, EXCEPT Mary and her child. Can we believe that now the true believers are even touched by Satan? Of course not. Rather, the Holy Prophet (saw) showed us that those with the qualities of Mary and Jesus are not touched by Satan. Nor were any prophets touched by satan, like the non Ahmadi Muslims try to assert.

A great scholar, Imam Zamakshari(rh) himself stated:
“This hadith means that Satan wishes to lead every newborn child astray, except Mary and her son because they were pure, and all those who possess those spiritual qualities.”

  • Holy Prophet(saw) made it clear that all those who possess the spiritual qualities of Mary and Isa are called by their names. Allah Himself States in the Qur’an:
And Allah sets forth for those who believe the example of the wife of Pharaoh when she said, ‘My Lord! build for me a house with Thee in the Garden; and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from the wrongdoing people;’ And the example of Mary, the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her private parts — so We breathed into him of Our Spirit — and she fulfilled in her person the words of her Lord and His Books and was one of the obedient. (Chapter 66 verse 12-13)

Allah compares the believing MEN to Maryam(as) and Asiya, the wife of Pharoah. The believers who are like the wife of Pharoah are those who fall under oppression and disbelief, and the ones like Mary are those who are free from evil since the beginning.

  • First, the believer guards their chastity, and after that the next stage of Ibn Maryam is described in the Qur’an as “We breathed into her of Our word”. Upon every prophet, first comes the stage of Mary as Allah States in the Qur’an:
“I have indeed lived a lifetime among you before this, will you not then understand” (10:17)
After this, he advances from the status of Mary and attains the status of Prophethood while remaining free from the touch of satan. The Qur’an makes it clear that when one reaches the highest point of chastity and purity, a believing man goes through a metaphorical pregnancy, and a metaphorical Son of Mary is born. It is only in the allegorical sense.
  • Hadhrat Ahmad(as) stated:
“The word haml here does not infer the generally understood and literal meaning; Rather infers one who carries the attributes of Jesus” (Noahs Ark)
He further states : “To advance from the qualities of Mary to the qualities of Jesus”
“Here, I have been named Jesus and the revelation discloses the fact that the Jesus who was breathed into Mary as referred to on page 496 has appeared. So, in this respect, I have been named Jesus son of Mary because my status as Jesus emerged from my initial status as Mary, through the breath of God. See pages 496 and 556 of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah. It is this very phenomenon of the birth of Jesus son of Mary in this Ummah, which has been vividly prophesied in Surah Tahrim, wherein it is explained that someone from among this Ummah will firstly be transformed into the likeness of Mary. Thereafter the soul of Jesus will be breathed into this Mary. As such, for a period of time this person will be nurtured in the womb of Mary before being born as the spiritual manifestation of Jesus. And in this way, such a person will come to be known as Jesus son of Mary. This is the prophecy regarding the Son of Mary who would be from among the Ummah of Muhammad[sa], which was revealed almost 1300 years ago in Surah Tahrim of the Holy Quran. Then, in Barahin-e- Ahmadiyyah, God Almighty Himself has expounded on the verses of Surah At-Tahrim. The Holy Quran is with you. If one were to study the Holy Quran with Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah and ponder over this matter with fairness, reason and piety, one would be able to see how the prophecy in Surah Tahrim—that a person from among this Ummah would also be named Mary and would then be transformed therefrom into Jesus, i.e. be born from Mary—was fulfilled in the revelations of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah. Is this within the power of man? Did I have any control over this affair? Was I present when the Holy Quran was being revealed so that I could request for a verse to be sent down which would make me the Son of Mary and thereby alleviate any future accusations relating to my being referred to as the Son of Mary
  • Moreover, was it possible, that twenty or twenty-two years ago, rather, even before this, I could have crafted the plan to forge a revelation so that I may first be referred to as Mary, and then gone on to concoct a revelation which suggested that like the Mary of the past, the soul of Jesus was also breathed into me; and then finally on page 556 of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah written that from Mary I had now emerged as Jesus?” (Noahs Ark Page 80-81)

Think Not You are Sinners: https://www.instagram.com/p/BhufFyhn8-u/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Some people become worried that Allah will never forgive their sins. Never have such a feeling as it is detrimental to your faith and cause severe problems and sadness. Always remember how Loving Allah is. He States that His Mercy exceeds all things. Allah beautifully Said:
“Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, said: ‘O son of Adam! Verily as long as you called upon Me and hoped in Me, I forgave you, despite whatever may have occurred from you, and I did not mind. O son of Adam! Were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you, and I would not mind. So son of Adam! If you came to me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly as great as it.’”

The question arises, what is tauba (repentance)? Tauba means that a person should discard a vice with the resolve that even if he was to be thrown into the fire, he would never dare to commit that vice again. When a person turns towards Allah with such sincerity, Allah forgives him of that sin. Repentance washes out the stains of sin. Allah States in the Qur’an:
Whoso does some evil or wrongs his soul in any way, and then asks forgiveness of Allah with remorse, will find Allah Most Forgiving, Ever Merciful. (Chapter 4 Verse 111)
    Hadhrat Ahmad(as) stated:
” This verse which is so profound and full of wisdom means that as stumbling and sinning are the characteristics of defective souls, which are manifested by them, there are corresponding to them the eternal attributes of God which are mercy and forgiveness and He is inherently Forgiving and Merciful. His forgiveness is not casual but is His eternal attribute which He loves and which He desires to exercise on deserving people.”
  • One of my favourite quotations of the Promised Messiah(as) on this subject is as follows:
“Think not you are sinners. Will your prayers be heard? Do not think like this. Man makes mistakes, but a time comes when he is able to overpower his sinning self. This power to overpower the sinning self is also built into the nature of man. Water puts out fire. This is a part of its nature. Howsoever you may heat it, when water drops on fire it must put it out. That is natural. So is man a purifier by nature. Every man has this purifying property. Do not feel defeated because you have been involved in sin. Sin is like a stain on the surface of a piece of cloth. It can be washed away. Your habits, your dispositions may be dominated every so much by your passions. Pray to God weeping, crying, He will not let your prayers go to waste. He is full of compassion. (Badr, 1907)
  • There are three conditions for repentance. Hadhrat Ahmad(as) explained:
” The first condition is to get rid of wicked fancies which arouse evil propensities. Ideas have great influence. Every action is preceded by an idea. Thus, the prime condition for repentance is that evil thoughts and fancies should be discarded. For instance, if a person has an illicit relationship with a woman and desires to repent, it is necessary that he should conceive of her as ugly and should call to mind all her low qualities. As I have just said fancies exercise a powerful influence. I have read that some Sufis carried their fancies to such a length that they saw a person in the form of an ape or pig. Every thing takes on the colour of how you imagine it to be. Thus, the first condition of repentance is that all thoughts, which give rise to evil pleasures, should be discarded altogether.”
  • “The second condition is remorse. Everyone’s conscience admonishes him over every evil, but an unfortunate person leaves his conscience suspended. So a sinner should express remorse over his sin and evil action and should reflect that the pleasure to be derived from them is temporary. He should also consider that every time there is a decline in that pleasure and that in the end, in old age when his faculties are weakened, he will perforce have to give up all these pleasures. Then why indulge in that which in the end has to be given up anyhow? Most fortunate is the person who turns in repentance and becomes determined to discard all corrupt thoughts and vile fancies. When he gets rid of this impurity, he should be remorseful.”
  • The third condition is a firm resolve that he will not revert to those vices. If he adheres to this resolve, God will bestow upon him the strength for true repentance and he will be rid altogether of his vices which will be replaced by good morals and praiseworthy actions. This is a moral victory. It is for God Almighty to bestow the power and strength for it for He is the Master of all power and all strength, as He has said: “All Power Belongs to Allah” [Malfuzat, vol. I, pp. 138-40]

The Fountain of Life: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bhut-s0HZOI/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) beautifully stated: “How unfortunate is the man, who even now, is unaware that there is a God who has power over all things. Our paradise lies in our God. Our highest delight is in our God for we have seen Him and found every beauty in Him. This wealth is worth procuring though one might have to lay down one’s life to procure it. This ruby is worth purchasing though one may have to lose oneself to acquire it. O ye, who are deprived! Hasten to this fountain as it will satiate you. It is this fountain of life that will save you. What am I to do? How shall I impress the hearts with this good news? What sort of a drum am I to beat in the streets in order to make the announcement that this is your God, so that people might hear? What remedy shall I apply to the ears of the people so that they should listen?”(Noahs Ark)

The Secret to A Long Life: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bhy5rx_nrzy/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) stated in regards to the secret of prolonging one’s life:
“Everybody wishes to have a long life but there are very few people who have ever pondered over the principle of prolonging life. The Holy Qur’an has told us a principle:

    وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ
but as to that which benefits men, it stays on the earth. (13:18)

God has promised long life to those who are useful and beneficial to others. Although there are two aspects of Shariat – to worship God and to be sympathetic towards human beings, here the mention has been made of being useful to the people; it is so because it is only he who is beneficial to the people who can be said to be a perfect worshipper of God. So far as the first aspect is concerned it refers to the love and unity of God and it demands that one should be beneficial to the people. He can do so by telling the people to imbibe the love of God and to be steadfast in their belief concerning the Unity of God. God Says You should exhort the people in connection with the truth.

At times, it so happens that a person understands something quite all right but he cannot explain it to others to their satisfaction. In such cases, this kind of person should strive hard to make the people understand what he himself has understood. This is real sympathy for the fellow beings. One should make mental effort to make others understand the issue and that will make him live long. There is another verse which solves the question as to why the person who is useful to others gets longer life and not the one who is a worshipper of God alone. I have explained the fact that a perfect worshipper is the person who is beneficial to others. But the verse which I now refer to makes the matter clearer.

  • The verse in question is:

You should tell the people that God does not care if they do not pray to him (25:78). In other words, it can be said that the worshippers who lie their lives in forests and on the tops of mountains are very weak in faith. So far as our religion is concerned, it tells us that he who has tasted the sweetness of God- realization can never be kept silent. He is anxious to inform the people of this sweetness”(Malfuzat, Volume 3, Page 294)

Always Be Humble: https://www.instagram.com/p/BisWoQBHg8C/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Arrogance is one of the worst sins and characteristics a person can possibly have. The Qur’an is full of verses which speak against the arrogant and how their abode is an evil one. The Holy Prophet(saw) stated:

Shall I tell you of the people of Paradise? They comprise every poor humble person, and if he swears by Allah to do something, Allah will fulfill it; while the people of the fire comprise every violent, cruel arrogant person.” (Bukhari) –

On the day of Judgement, after shirk no vice is ranked as high as arrogance. It’s a vice which will humiliate one in this world and the hereafter. The mercy of Allah rescues all believers except the one who is arrogance. Hadhrat Ahmad(as) stated:
    – ” Everyone who looks down upon a brother because he esteems himself more learned, or wiser, or more proficient than him is arrogant, inasmuch as he does not esteem God as the Fountainhead of all intelligence and knowledge and deems himself as something. Has God not the power to afflict him with lunacy and to bestow upon his brother, whom he accounts small, better intelligence and knowledge and higher proficiency than him? So also he who, out of a mistaken conception of his wealth, or status, or dignity, looks down upon his brother, is arrogant because he forgets that his wealth, status and dignity were bestowed upon him by God. He is blind and does not realize that God has power to so afflict him that in a moment he might be reduced to the condition of the lowest of the low, and to bestow upon his brother whom he esteems low greater wealth than him. In the same way, he who takes pride in his physical health, or is conceited of his beauty, good looks, strength, or might and bestows a scornful designation on his brother making fun of him and proclaims his physical defects is arrogant, for he is unaware of God Who has power to afflict him with such physical defects as to render him worse than his brother and to bless the latter so that his faculties should not suffer decline or be stultified over a long period, for He has power to do all that He wills.

  • Similarly, he who is neglectful of Prayer on account of his dependence upon his faculties is arrogant for he has not recognized the Fountainhead of all power and strength and relies upon himself. Therefore, dear ones! keep all these admonitions in mind lest you should be accounted arrogant in the estimation of God Almighty unknowingly.” – “He who out of pride corrects the pronunciation of a word by his brother partakes of arrogance. He who does not listen courteously to his brother and turns away from him partakes of arrogance. He who resents a brother sitting next to him partakes of arrogance. He who mocks and laughs at one who is occupied in Prayer partakes of arrogance. He who does not seek to render full obedience to a Commissioned one and Messenger of God partakes of arrogance. He who does not pay full attention to the directions of such a one and does not study his writings with care also partakes of arrogance. Try, therefore, that you should not partake of arrogance in any respect so that you may escape ruin and you and yours may attain salvation. Lean towards God and love Him to the utmost degree possible and fear Him as much as anyone can be feared in this life. Be pure hearted and pure intentioned and meek and humble and free of all mischief so that you may receive mercy.” (Nuzulul-Masih, Ruhani Khazain, Volume 18, Pages 402-403)

Arrogance is in fact allied to falsehood. The worst falsehood is that which accompanies arrogance which is why Allah destroys the one who is arrogant. Generally it is easy to discard vices, but some vices are so hidden that one is not always conscious of them, and therefore it is more difficult to discard them. Slight differences generate rancour, hatred, jealousy, hypocrisy and arrogance and a brother begins to look down upon a brother. For example, if a person reads Salat properly, people being to praise him and he falls victim to showing off, pride, and self-esteem and then loses the sincerity of his purpose of worshipping Allah.
  • If Allah Bestows something upon you of wealth, knowledge, never dare to look down upon a brother as that is what most do. There are many forms of arrogance. Some divines even suffer it because of their knowledge. They spend a lot of time finding faults which each other and go to the extent of humiliating another person because they have more knowledge. Until one is free from all of this, he cannot truly achieve the purity of soul and become worthy of the bounties of Allah. Arrogance is from satan and turns one into satan. It is our goal to completely purify ourselves from all forms of arrogance. –

There are many types of arrogance. Sometimes it is when a person looks at another in a sense that he is superior. Sometimes it comes from the tongue or the head, or through the hands and feet. We should avoid them all. We must be free from every form of arrogance and know that we are in reality nothing. Anything we are blessed with is only by the Grace of Allah alone. May Allah keep us all humble and away from all sorts of arrogance ameen.

Allegation on Poetry: https://www.instagram.com/p/BiuapoUgJZv/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • The non Ahmadi Muslims have ran out of allegations against the Promised Messiah(as), so they now come up with absurd allegations. Today a person asked about an allegation of poetry and why the Promised Messiah(as) did poetry if no other Prophet did? –
Firstly, the Qur’an does not say that a Prophet cannot be a poet. The Qur’an only makes it clear that the Qur’an itself is not poetry. Secondly, not all poets are the same. There is good poetry, and bad poetry. The falsehood in most poetry is condemned in Islam. However, good poetry is allowed in Islam. Allah States about good poets:
    إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَانْتَصَرُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ {228}
Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and retaliate only after they are wronged. And the wrongdoers will soon know to what place of return they shall return.(Chapter 26 Verse 228) –
The poetry of the Promised Messiah(as) is good poetry and is not included in the bad poetry. The verse stating that the Prophet(sa) was not taught poetry is only about the Qur’an and Imam Raghib (rh) has said the same in his Mufradat.
  • ahmadianswersThe Prophet Muhammad (saw) himself would listen to the poetry of the companions. Their poetry was always about God and the truth of Islam and other good topics. If we look at the life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), he also used good poetry. If poetry is wrong for a Prophet, then it would not be right for the Prophet to listen to it either. It is not right for one to say that I do not steal, but I make others steal. Or that I do not drink alcohol but I make others drink alcohol. A prophet does nothing wrong, but at the same time he does not let others do such deeds either, while watching them. If poetry was haram and wrong, it would also be wrong for the companions. The Prophet(saw) himself used good poetry.

    It is narrated:
    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قِيلَ لِلْبَرَاءِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، أَوَلَّيْتُمْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَقَالَ أَمَّا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلاَ، كَانُوا رُمَاةً فَقَالَ ‏ “‏ أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لاَ كَذِبْ أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ ‏”‌‏.‏ Narrated Abu ‘Is-haq:Al-Bara’ was asked while I was listening, “Did you flee (before the enemy) along with the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of (the battle of) Hunain?” He replied, “As for the Prophet, he did not (flee). The enemy were good archers and the Prophet (ﷺ) was saying, “I am the Prophet (ﷺ) undoubtedly; I am the son of `Abdul Muttalib. (Bukhari, volume 5, book 59, Hadith #606)

Here is a clear indication of good poetry by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) in his own life.

  • Now the anti Ahmadis should see the poetry of Hadhrat Ahmad(as) and how beautiful it was. For example, he stated:

“Thank for Allah’s Beneficence (Urdu Poem) O Allah, Maker of things, Concealer of faults, All Powerful; O my Dear, my Benefactor, my Sustainer! How should I thank You, O Bestower of Great Favours? Where can I find the tongue to express my gratitude? It is entirely Your grace and favour that You have chosen me; Otherwise, there was no shortage of humble servants in Your court. Those who vowed friendship turned into enemies; But You did not abandon me, O Fulfiller of all my needs. O my Unique Friend, O Refuge of my life, You alone are sufficient for me; I can’t do anything without You.But for Your grace, I would have long been reduced to dust; Then Allah knows where this dust would have scattered. May my heart and soul and very being be sacrificed in Your way! I know of none who loves like You; Since the beginning, I have been brought up under the blessed shadow of Your protection; Like a suckling was I nursed by You. In no son of man have I found the fidelity that You have; Nor have I come across, apart from You, any compassionate friend. People say that the unworthy are not accepted; But despite being unworthy, I have been granted acceptance in Your court. So numerous are Your favours and bounties bestowed upon me; They will remain uncountable to the Day of Judgment.” (Brahin-e-Ahmadiyya, Part V Ruhani Khazain Vol 21 pg 127)

How To Show Gratitude to Allah: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bj1KNdOg6qY/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

Assalamu Alaikum
Someone has asked how to show gratitude to Allah in Ramadhan or in general and what the best ways are. Firstly, we should realize how blessed we are as Ahmadi Muslims. This way, doing shukr of Allah becomes much easier. We are under a roof, breathing, with a family and Khilafat and unlimited blessings. Many people are deprived of all of this, and we may sometimes take it for granted. Allah States that if we even tried to count His blessings, we would not be able to. –
Firstly, we must pray and offer our Tahajjud prayers to show our gratitude as this is one of the best ways. Apart from prayers, we have many duas taught by the Holy Prophet(saw). Here are a few:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
“O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshipping You well.”

Praise is to Allah, abundant good and blessed praise, a never-ending praise, a praise that we will never bid farewell to and an indispensible praise, He is our Lord

Nawafil are also key:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari.

We should also regularly pay sadaqa and do tabligh as one great way to thank Allah is spreading His Beautiful Message for which He Sent thousands of Prophets

Purpose of Jalsa Salana: https://www.instagram.com/p/BkVrO-cBksf/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • Jalsa Salana
Since Jalsa Salana UK and many other countries are coming up, many ask about Jalsa and what it is and what is its purpose. Under divine inspiration, Hadhrat Ahmad(as) announced that he is the Messiah and Mahdi (1891). Later on in the same year, Hadhrat Ahmad(as) held the first Jalsa Salana. It was held on December 27th to 29th at the Masjid Aqsa in Qadian. Only 75 members attended that year. In 1907, there were thousands and then in 1983 over 250,000 in Rabwah.

What is the purpose of the Jalsa?
This spiritual convention will have many other spiritual benefits which will become manifest from time to time. Those suffering from paucity of means would be well-advised to plan ahead for attending this Jalsa. If they lay by a small sum on a daily or monthly basis, through planning and saving, they will have enough provisions for the journey, and it will seem as if the journey was undertaken free of cost. Those who approve of the proposal should inform me now in writing so that a separate list can be made of those who are resolved, for the rest of their lives, to attend the gathering on the specified dates with all their heart and soul and with the greatest resolve—unless it is simply beyond their power and means to undertake the journey. May Allah grant a goodly reward to those who underwent the travails of travel to attend the convention which was held on 27th December 1891 for the purpose of religious consultations. May He reward every step they look upon this journey. Amen, Amen. (The Heavenly Decree, Pages 73-75)

The primary purpose of this Convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits; They may enhance their knowledge and due to their being blessed and enabled by Allah, The Exalted – their perception [of Allah] may progress. Among its secondary benefits is that this congregational meeting together will promote mutual introduction among all brothers, and it will strengthen the fraternal ties within this Community. (Majmooah Ishtiharat, Volume 1, Page 340)
  • It is essential for all those who can afford to undertake the journey, that they must come to attend this Convention which embodies many blessed objectives. They should disregard minor inconveniences in the cause of Allah and His Prophetsa. Allah yields reward to the sincere persons at every step of their way, and no labour and hardship, undertaken in His way, ever goes to waste. I re-emphasize that you must not rank this convention in the same league as other, ordinary, human assemblies. This is a phenomenon that is based purely on the Divine Help, for propagation of Islam. (Majmooah Ishtiharat, Volume 1, Page 341)

I conclude with the prayer that everyone who travels for [attending] this Convention that is for the sake of Allah: May Allah, the Exalted, be with him, reward him in abundant measure, have mercy on him, ease up for him his circumstances of hardship and anxiety and eliminate his anguish and grief. May He grant him freedom from every single hardship and lay open for him the ways of [achieving] his cherished goals, and raise him up, on the day of Judgment, among those of His servants who are the recipients of His blessings and Mercy. May He be their Guardian in their absence until after their journey comes to an end. O Allah! O Sublime One and Bestower of bounties, the Ever Merciful and One Who resolves all problems, do grant all these prayers, and grant us victory over our opponents with scintillating signs, because You alone have all the prowess and power. Ameen! Ameen!(Majmooah Ishtiharat, Volume 1, Page 342)

Why the Name Isa Ibn Maryam:

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bnx64zpngwR/?taken-by=ahmadianswers

  • The non Ahmadi Muslims believe that Hadhrat Isa(as) is alive in the heavens and would return in the end times. They rely on him to save the ummah and many have even left Islam and joined Christianity because of this belief. The Qur’an and ahadith are in reality clear on the death of Hadhrat Isa(as). Both make it clear that Hadhrat Isa(as) who was sent to Bani Israel has died and will not return. Many verses of the Qur’an prove this. For example, Allah States in Chapter 3 Verse 145, that Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) was only a messenger and all the messengers before him have passed away. The word used here is “Khala” which refers to death and never returning. Another verse of the Qur’an also states that Hadhrat Isa(as) died a natural death and after his death, he was given spiritual exaltation.

The Qur’an and ahadith are clear on his death. However, ahadith also say that the Messiah would also descend in the ummah of Muslims and would be an imam from among the Muslims. These ahadith themselves prove that Isa(as) died. They clearly say that he would be an imam from the Muslims rather than from Bani Israel. They also use the word “nazala” which refers to appearing from the earth, rather than raja which means return. No hadith mentions that the Isa(as) of 2000 years ago would return. The Prophet Muhammad (sa) made it clear that the Messiah to come for the Muslims would be a different individual. He even described his skin complexion completely different to the skin complexion of the Messiah of Bani Israel. He also said that this messiah would be of Persian lineage rather than of Bani Israel and the Qur’an further made it clear that our khulafa would only come from our ummah rather than from outside. The Qur’an makes it clear that Isa(as) was a Messenger for Bani Israel alone (3:50).
  • ahmadianswersThe Qur’an makes it clear that Isa(as) died and will not return so the non Ahmadi Muslims have to either reject the coming of any Messiah and reject the Qur’an ayahs and ahadith about him, or they would have to admit that the Qur’an is wrong and Isa(as) is alive and will return, or they would have to accept the view of the Ahmadi Muslims that as the Prophet(sa) said, he would be from this ummah and be in the likeness of the Messiah.

It is not necessary for us to use the word “like” because without this word there is much more emphasis on the similarity between the two people. The Qur’an is full of metaphorical language and so are the ahadith. Hadhrat Muhammad (sa) called one of his companions Abu Hurairah. Was he actually the father of cats?

The Holy Prophet (sa) made it clear that this Messiah would be someone completely different. In fact, in Bukhari on the same page, two ahadith appear which describe the Messiah. The first one describes the Messiah of Bani Israel and he is described as reddish skin while the latter day messiah is described as a brown man who would be of Persian lineage and would revive Islam in the end times. We must also remember that the Qur’an likens the Prophet (sa) to Moses(as) and we know that Isa(as) came 1400 years after Moses(as) and Hadhrat Ahmad(as) also came in the 13th century and ruled in both the 13th and 14th century. –

  • ahmadianswersThe Holy Prophet (sa) would use the term ibn Maryam for other righteous people too. He stated in one hadith that all are touched by satan at birth except ibn maryam and her son, meaning anyone with their characteristics, because the Qur’an says satan cannot touch or affect the righteous people and servants of God.

There are so many similarities between Hadhrat Ahmad(as) and Hadhrat Isa(as) which is why he is given this title. Hadhrat Ahmad(as) states:
The first similarity between the two is that that they are both promised. There have been thousands of saints and men of God in Islam, but the advent of not even one of them was promised. It was only the advent of the one who was to come with the name of the Messiah that was promised. In the same way, before Jesus(as) there was no Prophet in Israel whose advent was promised, only the Messiah’s advent had been promised. –
  • ahmadianswersThe second similarity is the loss of kingdom. There is no doubt that a short while before the advent of Jesus son of Mary(as), the Israelite kingdom had been lost. In the same way, before the birth of the last Messiah, the Islamic kingdom in India had disappeared from this country due to all sorts of misconduct, and the British kingdom had been established in its place. –
The third similarity is that in the time of the first Messiah(as) the Jews had become divided into many sects and were in need of an Arbiter who would decide between them. Likewise, at the time of this last Messiah, the Muslims have become divided into many sects. –
The fourth similarity is that just as the first Messiah(as) was not commissioned to fight with the sword, the last Messiah has also not be commissioned to fight with the sword. In fact there can be no question of such a thing when the age has shown that no heart can be convinced with the sword and no civilized person now takes up the sword for the sake of religion…. –
Fifth: In the time of the first Messiah(as), the character of the Jews had become thoroughly corrupt. Their divines in particular were deceitful, worshippers of the world, and greedy for worldly gain and honour. The same is the case with common Muslims and the majority of the Muslim divines in the time of the last Messiah. This needs no detailed exposition. –
Sixth: The first Messiah(as) was raised under the Roman Caesar. This distinction is shared by the last Messiah, in that I too have been raised under Caesar—only this Caesar is better than the Caesar who ruled in the time of the Messiah(as) …. –
  • ahmadianswersSeventh: The Christian faith ultimately penetrated into the people of Caesar. I too partake of this inasmuch as I perceive that both in Europe and America great interest is taken in my claim and arguments. Hundreds of journals and newspapers have published my claim and the reasons in support thereof. Some of them have said things in my support which it is difficult for a Christian to say, so much so that they have clearly said concerning me that to them I appear to be true… –
Eighth: A comet had appeared in the time of Messiah(as) and the same comet has appeared again in my time. Some European newspapers have referred to this as evidence that the time of the advent of the Messiah is near. –
Ninth: When Jesus the Messiah(as) was put upon the cross, the sun suffered an eclipse. Likewise, when I was denied, not only did the sun, but the moon also suffered an eclipse in the month of Ramadan, and not once but—in accordance with the Hadith—twice. These eclipses were mentioned in the Gospels, the Holy Qur’an, as well as Ahadith (e.g. in Dar Qutni). –
Tenth: After the persecution of Jesus(as) by the Jews, there was a severe outbreak of the plague among them. Likewise, there has been a severe outbreak of the plague in my time. –
Eleventh: The Jewish divines tried to condemn Jesus(as) as a rebel. He was persecuted and the Jews sought to have him sentenced to death. The Divine decree has associated me with him in this regard as well. I too was charged with conspiracy to murder and attempts were made to show that I was a rebel. This was the case in which Maulavi Abu Sa‘id Muhammad Hussain of Batala appeared as a witness against me. –
  • ahmadianswersTwelfth: When Jesus(as) was put upon the cross, a thief was also put upon the cross at the same time. I have been associated with him in this incident as well. On the day that I was discharged from the case of conspiracy to murder, in accordance with a categorical prophecy that I had published widely in advance, a Christian thief had also been produced in the same court. This thief was a member of the Christian Salvation Army who had stolen some money. He was sentenced to a three months’ imprisonment, and not to death, like the companion of the first Messiah(as).
  • ahmadianswersThirteenth: When Jesus(as) was produced before Pilate and it was demanded that he should be sentenced to death, Pilate declared that he had not found any sin in Jesus(as) which should make him deserving of death. In the same way, Captain Douglas, the District Magistrate, in answer to one of my questions told me that he did not charge me with any offence.

It appears that Captain Douglas was more steadfast and had greater regard for justice than Pilate, inasmuch as in the end Pilate exhibited cowardice and became afraid of the vicious divines of the Jews, but Captain Douglas showed no such fear…. My Jama‘at and I will always remember these good qualities of Captain Douglas and his name will always be mentioned with honour till the end of time. –
  • ahmadianswersFourteenth: Jesus(as), having been born without a father, was not an Israelite and yet he was the last Prophet in the Mosaic dispensation who appeared in the fourteenth century after Moses(as). I too am not one of the Quraish and have been raised in the fourteenth century after the Holy Prophet(sa) and have appeared at the end. –
Fifteenth: The world in the time of Jesus(as) had taken on a new aspect. Roads had been built, the mailing system had been regulated, the military structure had been improved, facilities had been created for travellers, and the system of justice had been made much more transparent. Similarly, in my time, life has become much more comfortable. Railways have also been built, an indication of which is given in the Holy Qur’an. I leave the rest to the reader to understand.

Sixteenth: Jesus(as) resembled Adam(as) as he was born without a father. I also resemble Adam(as) as I was born a twin. Muhy-ud-Din Ibn-e-‘Arabi has recorded that the last Khalifah in Islam would be of Persian origin (i.e., would be a Mughal) and would be born a twin. A girl would be born first and then he would be born. That is how I was born, on a Friday morning. A girl was first and I was born after her. I am not aware of the source upon which this prophecy of Ibn-e-‘Arabi, which has been fulfilled, is based, but it is to be found in his books to this day –
  • ahmadianswersThese are the sixteen resemblances between me and the Messiah(as). It is obvious that had my claim been the product of my own imagination, there would not have been so many resemblances between the Messiah son of Mary(as) and myself. Denial of truth has, from ancient times, been the characteristic of those who have not been blessed with good fortune, but my denial by the Maulavis of this age is simply beyond comprehension. I am the one who has appeared right on time and for whom the sun and the moon were eclipsed in the month of Ramadan in accordance with the prophecies of the Qur’an, the Hadith, the Bible and other Prophets(as). I am the one in whose time, according to the prophecies of all the Prophets(as) and of the Holy Qur’an, the plague broke out in this country in an extraordinary manner. I am the one in whose time the pilgrimage was stopped in accordance with true Ahadith. I am the one in whose time the comet appeared which has appeared in the time of the Messiah son of Mary(as). I am the one in whose time the advent of the railway caused camels to be discarded as a means of transportation. The time is approaching, indeed it is very near, when the railway will run between Mecca and Medina and all those camels will be discarded which have performed this blessed journey for thirteen hundred years. Then will be fulfilled this Hadith of Sahih Muslim: –
  • ahmadianswerswhich means that in the time of the Messiah camels will be discarded and no one will travel by them. I am the one at whose hands hundreds of signs have been shown. Is there anyone alive who can compete with me in the exhibition of signs and defeat me? I call to witness God, in Whose hand is my life, that more than two hundred thousand signs have been exhibited at my hands. Approximately ten thousand people or perhaps even more have seen the Holy Prophet(sa) in their dreams and he confirmed the truth of my claim. Some well-known persons in this country who had experience of visions and the number of each of whose followers exceeded three hundred thousand, were informed in their dreams that I had been sent by God
  • ahmadianswersDespite all this testimony and miracles and extraordinary signs, the Maulavis call me false and it was necessary that they should do so, so that the prophecy implied in the verse: Those who have not incurred Thy displeasure.— Al-Fatihah, 1:7 may be fulfilled. At the root of all this opposition is the stupid desire of the Maulavis that all the signs of the Promised Messiah, which they find set out in their books and which are a mixed bundle of truth and falsehood, should be fulfilled; and that no one claiming to be the Messiah or Mahdi should ever be accepted if he is not borne out by each of the many Ahadith they possess, although such a proposition has always remained an impossibility. The signs which the Jews had announced and formulated in their books concerning the advent of Jesus(as) were not fulfilled. Then the same wretched people formulated a number of signs for the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa), and only a few of them were fulfilled. For instance, they had imagined that this last Prophet would be from among the Israelites…but the Holy Prophet(sa) appeared from among the Ishmaelites. Had God Almighty so willed, He could have recorded in the Torah that the name of that Prophet would be Muhammad and that the name of his father would be ‘Abdullah and that the name of his grandfather would be ‘Abdul Muttalib and that he would be born in Mecca and would migrate to Medina. But God did not record all this, because such prophecies have to be the test of faith.
  • ahmadianswersIt has been specified for the Promised Messiah in advance that he would be an Arbiter between the different sects of Islam. Now, when each sect has a collection of its own Ahadith and how can it be possible for him to conform to the ideas of everyone? If he confirms the Ahl-e-Hadith, the Hanafis would be disgruntled, and if he confirms the Hanafis, the Shafi‘is would be annoyed, and the Shi‘as would insist that he should have appeared in accordance with their doctrine. How could he please everyone? The very word ‘Arbiter’ indicates that he would arrive at a time when all sects would have departed from the truth to some degree. In these circumstances, it would be a great folly for each sect to test him on the touchstone of its own Ahadith. The right course would be to take advantage of those signs and conditions which are fulfilled in his time and to reject the others as false and human fabrications. This is the course that was followed by the righteous Jews who became Muslims. They accepted those traditions of the Jews which confirmed the truth of the Holy Prophet(sa) and rejected the rest as false. Had not this been done, neither the Prophethood of Jesus(as) nor that of the Holy Prophet(sa) could have been established satisfactorily for the Jews. Those of them who became Muslims had to reject hundreds of false Jewish traditions. When they found that some of the conditions laid down had been fulfilled and that there was an ocean of Divine support for the Holy Prophet(sa), they took advantage of those traditions which had been fulfilled. Otherwise, not one of them would have become a Muslim…
  • ahmadianswersNow comes the question of my claim. This is supported by so many reasons that unless a person is altogether without shame, he has no way open to him other than to accept my claim in the same way as he has accepted the advent of the Holy Prophet(sa). Are these arguments not enough proof of my claim that the Holy Qur’an has given so many signs and indications concerning me that it has virtually specified my name, and the Ahadith mention Kad‘ah as the name of my village. The Ahadith also show that the Promised Messiah would be born in the thirteenth century and would appear in the fourteenth. Sahih Bukhari gives my full description. With regard to the first Messiah(as), his great centre is described as in the East, i.e., India. It is also related in the Ahadith that the Promised Messiah will appear East of Damascus; and Qadian is to the East of Damascus. The following signs and conditions should be enough for a Godfearing person to accept my claim
  • ahmadianswersThe eclipse of the sun and the moon occurred in the month of Ramadan after the announcement of my claim, but people rejected this sign; the plague spread over the country; the railway was started in accordance with the prophecies in the Ahadith and the Qur’an; camels were discarded; the Pilgrimage was stopped; the time came for the spread of the doctrine of the cross; hundreds of signs were shown at my hands; the time of my appearance was appointed by the Prophets(as); I was raised at the beginning of the century; thousands of pious people saw dreams confirming my claim; the Holy Prophet(sa) and the Holy Qur’an announced that the Promised Messiah would appear from among the Muslims; I have been accorded the support of God Almighty; approximately two hundred thousand people have made covenant of Bai‘at with me and have become righteous and purehearted; the Christian faith has been shaken in my time so much so that the magic of the Trinity is melting like snow; Muslims have gone into decline having been divided into many sects; the world has undergone a revolutionary change in which innovation, idolatry, drunkenness, illicit sex, dishonesty, and lying have become rife; in every aspect this world has undergone a tremendous change; according to the testimony of every wise person the world needs a reformer; my victory against everyone through miraculous writings and heavenly signs and the fulfilment of hundreds of thousands of Divine prophecies in my support.([Tadhkirat-ush-Shahadatain, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 20, pp. 30-41]

Life Span of the Messiah: https://www.instagram.com/p/BtrPugIl4Km/

  • One allegation which some opponents raise is that the Messiah was to live for 40 years and that (according to them) Hadhrat Ahmad (as) did not live up to forty years. They make all sorts of false allegations against his age. Some claim he lived for seventeen years, some say seven years, and others differ. The anti Ahmadis have fallen in so much falsehood that even their allegations have contradictions now.

Firstly, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) had many revelations of when he was going to pass away but Allah had not given him the exact date. He (as) received many revelations near the day of his death. Allah Makes it clear in the Qur’an: And him whom We grant long life — We revert him to a weak condition of creation. Will they not then understand? (Chapter 36 Verse 69). –
In reality, the indication of 40 years really points to the Messiah serving the faith for a really long time. The opponents agree that Hadhrat Ahmad (as) passed away in 1908 When a figure of 40 years is subtracted from this, we get 1868 and we know that Allah was already sending revelation to Hadhrat Ahmad (as) during this time and even before. He was also serving Islam before this, so the prophecy is fulfilled.

As for the narrations, there are contradictions. One narration for example says that anti Christ would appear and remain for forty and then the messiah and people would survive for seven years. According to this, the Messiah would only live for seven years after he is sent since the opponents say Dajjal would be killed within 40 days of the coming of the messiah. –
As for the truthfulness of a prophet, the requirement from the Qur’an is them living for 23 years after claiming to have received revelation and Hadhrat Ahmad (as) surpassed this by many years. He received revelation in 1868 and many true dreams even before this, and passed away in 1908. This sign is in Surah Haqqa verses 44-49.

Hadhur (as) has also interpreted 40 years meaning his mission would be around this long. As for the non Ahmadi Muslims, they have fallen into many issues. The narrations make it clear that the messiah and Mahdi are one and the narrations (most of which are weak) have many contradictions which show these are not truly from the Prophet (sa). Some say 5 years, some say 7 years, some say 9 years some say 19 years, some say 20 years, some say 24 years, some say 30 years, and others say 40 years.

So in conclusion Hadhrat Ahmad (as) fulfilled the Qur’anic requirement of a true prophet and also the 40 year serving Islam prophecy from the ahadith narrations.

Division by the Imam Mahdi? https://www.instagram.com/p/BvaeTD_lFT4/

One allegation raised against Hadhrat Ahmad (as) is that he made a jamaat and brought more division since he made a new sect, when the Imam Mahdi should have decreased the division. We should remember that such things are said when prophets come. The Prophet (sa) was also accused of this that you caused hatred between brother and brother and even families, when in reality they were in division even before and in tribulation. The same is with the Promised Messiah(as). The Prophets are sent by Allah to remove tribulations and unite the true believers at one hands and promote unity. Those who accept the truth are removed from the tribulations while the opponents remain in them. We have many opponents and they can continue opposing us, but in reality, they themselves even excluding us, are completely divided. And till they continue to reject the Imam of the age, they will continue to be in such tribulation. However us Ahmadi Muslims, are true Muslims and we will always call ourselves Muslims. –

Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) explained that a friend said that once a ahle hadith Hanafi mosque had namaaz and he was praying. He raised his finger in tashahudd, all broke their namaz and started calling him a harami. They did not see how big of a sin it was to break the namaaz. Instead they focussed on his finger and began to mock and abuse him. Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) explained that these tribulations already existed and the messiah corrected them. The one who hurts others is the one who harms, rather than the one who comes to cure. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) came to cure. Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) gave examples of a doctor and how even he sometimes has to hurt the patient to cure him. But we do not blame the doctor since he is curing the person. Once in Hadhrat Ahmad (as) presence, someone said that you have caused division and we already had so much evil. Hadhur (as) said that if you want to keep your milk, would you keep it separate or with yogurt? It is obvious it would be kept alone. In the same way, the firqa or jamaat made is the true jamaat and it also has to be separated from those people who are ruined. In the same way it is the sunnah of Allah that when a spiritual sickness comes, Allah Sends Prophets to revive the people. It is for this reason that Ahmadi women do not marry non Ahmadi men because they are ruined by doing such, and Hadhrat Ahmad (as) explained this as well. There is a difference between manly division and Godly division. With every prophet comes Godly division where the good and bad separate. As for manly division, it is of course wrong and against the Qur’an.

Pir Mehr Ali Shah – The True Story: https://www.instagram.com/p/B24ZGnMlhmI/

This post is about Pir Mehr Ali Shah of Golrah Sharif. He is one of the Muslim clerics who is well known, especially throughout India and Pakistan, and is praised till today. In my humble opinion, he is one of the most misunderstood characters in the Muslim world and his life has been badly misrepresented, especially by his followers. The way Allah Brought out his reality to the world is nothing less than a grand sign shown in the favor of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) of Qadian.

When Hadhrat Ahmad(as) announced his claim of his miraculous Arabic, no scholar was able to compete with him in writing an Arabic commentary of the Holy Qur’an. He(as) said that all of the Muslim scholars can even get together, and even then, they will never be able to write like his Arabic. This included those born Arabs who had learned the language their entire lives!

Pir Mehr Ali Shah was extremely deceptive. When Hadhrat Ahmad (as) released the challenge of writing a tafsir like his, Pir Mehr Ali Shah responded that he wants to have a debate on the claims of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) and that the biggest opponent of the Promised Messiah(as) should be the judge, and that if the judge says Pir is on the right path, then Hadhur (as) should do baiat of the Pir right away. This criteria was beyond absurd and the public had realized this. The maulvi was already on the side of the Pir so why would Hadhur (as) accept such an absurd challenge? The reality was, that the Pir was afraid to accept the challenge of Hadhrat Ahmad(as) and therefore needed excuses. Secondly, Hadhur (as) had already announced long before, that he would not longer do debates with the maulvis as they only abuse and that Allah had instructed him to refrain from such discussions for the future. Pir’s idea was that he would challenge Promised Messiah(as) and if Promised Messiah(as) accepted the debate, Pir would say that you went against Allah’s command and if Promised Messiah(as) denied the debate, which he did, then Pir would say you ran away.
(1)

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) denied the criteria of the Pir but continuously challenged him to write a tafsir like his. Hadhur (as) then wrote the tafsir of Surah Fatiha and challenged the Pir to write better than it, and that if he did, he would be rewarded. However, the Pir was unable to respond. Hadhur (as) even allowed the Pir to choose three knowledgeable judges to compare their commentaries but still the Pir was unable to respond. Hadhur (as) allowed the Pir to seek assistance from other scholars, but still he was unable to write.

Now what happened next is simply a miracle. Pir Mehr Ali Shah began to accuse Hadhrat Ahmad (as) of making mistakes in the Arabic language and wrote a book called “Saif-e-Chistiya”. When Hadhrat Ahmad (as) received this book, he began to tear up out of sadness that a response was sent to his Arabic book in the Urdu language. The challenge was to write an Arabic tafsir and the Pir wrote an Urdu book full of allegations instead! (2)

Signs of True Revelation: https://www.instagram.com/p/B24h1CVl9nz/

These are the characteristics of true revelation:

1. It is received at a time when the heart of the recipient, being melted through its ache for truth, flows towards God Almighty like clear water. This is indicated in the Hadith that the Holy Qur’an was revealed in sorrow and should be studied with a sorrowful heart.

2. True revelation is accompanied by delight and conveys certainty in an unknown manner and penetrates into the heart like an iron nail. Its words are eloquent and free from error.

3. True revelation possesses a certain majesty and strikes the heart with power and descends upon it with force and an awesome voice. False revelation is conveyed in a low voice like the voice of thieves and eunuchs and women inasmuch as Satan is a thief and a eunuch and a woman.

4. True revelation is charged with the power of God Almighty and contains prophecies which are fulfilled.

5. True revelation fosters the recipient’s goodness and purifies him of inner impurities and improves his moral condition.

6. True revelation is borne witness to by all the inner powers of the recipient and it sheds a new and pure light on all his faculties and he perceives a change in himself. His previous life comes to an end and a new life begins for him and he becomes a source of sympathy for mankind.

Types of Dreams: https://www.instagram.com/p/B24lljiFEgR/

Many ask about dreams and the types of dreams. There are Nafsani dreams (egoistic), Shaitani dreams (satanic), and Rahman dreams (divine dreams). Hadhrat Ahmad (as) states:

Dreams are of three kinds—egoistic, satanic and divine. Egoistic dreams are a reflection of one’s own thoughts like a cat dreaming of flecks of meat. A satanic dream is wild and frightening. A divine dream is a message from God; their proof is a matter of experience. These are Divine matters which are far distant from this world. If we judge them by reason another person cannot understand them and we cannot make him understand. These are signs of the existence of God Almighty which He casts upon the heart from the unseen. When we find that what we were told has come to pass, we begin to believe in it. An instrument of this world cannot recognize these things. These are spiritual matters and are recognizable only spiritually. A true dream bears witness to its own truth. [Malfuzat, vol. IV, pp. 368-369]

As for satanic dreams, they don’t have light as satan has no power. They are quick like a thief that comes at night and these dreams do not affect the heart. Allah Also Reveals quickly, but the Dreams He shows do affect the heart. Satan sometimes even instructs one to do good but makes on go away from the greater good by doing so. (1)

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) has explained that there are two types of revelation. Revelation of trial and revelation of exaltation. The revelation of trial sometimes brings about the ruin of a person while the revelation of exaltation never does. Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) has further explained the types of dreams.

1. Dream of Grace
This dream requires no effort on our part. No one is ruined or exalted because of it. Allah Blesses us with them without us deserving them. They should not make us proud, or make us feel like as if we have done something. For example, if we see shining teeth, it would mean good news. To take these dreams to make us feel like we are special is wrong. Allah Speaks so we can increase in our faith. These generally do not lead to trials but can.

2. Dream of Trial
IF we don’t understand such dreams, they will destroy our spirituality. They often happen to those who are righteous but in their hearts feel like they are something big. Extremely dangerous. Man thinks he is something and thinks that he has some rights, such as “I should have sat there as well”. When you have such thoughts. know that it is satan. Sometimes you may even hear a voice praising you but know that this is a trial. They sometimes even hear what prophets are being told and then think it’s about them. Once someone came to the Promised Messiah(as) and said Allah has called him names of other Prophets. Hadhur (as) simply said do you have their qualities to which he had no response. One person also said that Allah sat him on His Arsh to which Hadhur (as) asked if he had knowledge of the unseen. He said he did not to which Hadhur (as)said it was satan. Man becomes arrogant and goes downhill. If he doesn’t become arrogant he is saved. If a person says take food but is given no food, it shows that he was not being spoken to and not the addressee. One companion of the Prophet (sa) heard an ayah being revealed and left Islam because of it. (He later joined Islam again)
