Prophets are Liars?

The false allegation with the non Ahmadi Muslims quote is that Ahmadasstated that the prophets are liars. It upsets me how the anti Ahmadis can go to such an extent of lying. They try to quote Izala-e-Auham pages 688-699 however it is clear that nothing of that sort is ever mentioned anywhere. It is our belief that the Prophets are the most faithful and the most truthful and free from sinning. Never would Ahmadas say such a thing nor has he or any prophet of Allah. In reality, Ahmadas stated that the Prorphets can also make errors in the comprehension of the true purport of divine revelation which is revealed t them. He did not ever suggest that they had lied. Prophets have indeed misunderstood the revelations which were revealed to them. The Qur’an itself sows us that Prophets have misunderstood their revelations. Allah States:

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ {103} فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ {104} وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ {105} قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ {106}

Allah states:And when he was old enough to work with him, he said, ‘O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee. So consider, what thou thinkest of it!’ He replied, ‘O my father, do as thou art commanded; thou wilt find me, if Allah please, of those who are patient.’And when they both submitted to the Will of God, and he had thrown him down on his forehead, We called to him: ‘O Abraham,Thou hast indeed fulfilled the dream.’ Thus indeed do We reward those who do good.(Chapter 37 Verses 103-106)

It is clear that Abrahamas misinterpreted the vision he was shown. We have a similar incident from the life of Noahas as well where he thought his son would be saved from the flood and was a part of his family but Allah Stated:

وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ رَبَّهُ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ابْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِي وَإِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنْتَ أَحْكَمُ الْحَاكِمِينَ{46} قَالَ يَا نُوحُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ ۖ فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّي أَعِظُكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ {47}

And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: ‘My Lord, verily, my son is of my family, and surely, Thy promise is true, and Thou art the Most Just of judges.’He said: ‘O Noah, he is surely not of thy family; he is indeed a man of unrighteous conduct. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge. I advise thee lest thou become one of the ignorant.’(Chapter 11 Verses 46-47)

Even the Holy Prophetsaw misinterpreted and misunderstood his revelations at times. It is narrated:

Narrated Abu Musa:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “In a dream I saw myself migrating from Mecca to a place having plenty of date trees. I thought that it was Al-Yamama or Hajar, but it came to be Medina i.e. Yathrib. In the same dream I saw myself moving a sword and its blade got broken. It came to symbolize the defeat which the Muslims suffered from, on the Day of Uhud. I moved the sword again, and it became normal as before, and that was the symbol of the victory Allah bestowed upon Muslims and their gathering together. I saw cows in my dream, and by Allah, that was a blessing, and they symbolized the believers on the Day of Uhud. And the blessing was the good Allah bestowed upon us and the reward of true belief which Allah gave us after the day of Badr.(Sahih Bukhari Volume 4 Book 56 Hadith #818)
