You Are My Purpose and Are With Me

The revelation which the non Ahmadi Muslims accuse is as follows:

Good news for you, O My Ahmad. You are My purpose and are with Me. I have planted your honour with My own hand.(Ruhani Khazain, Volume 22, Page 82)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this revelation. The problem is that the non Ahmadi Muslims do not have knowledge of the Qur’an or the ahadith. In this revelation Ahmad^as is called the Murad of Allah.  The first part of this revelation is also found in the writings of Shaikh Ahmad of Sirhind known as Mujadid Alf Thani who states:

“I am the disciple (murid) of God and also His intention (murad). My devotion to God is linked directly to Him without any intermediary. My hand is the representative of God’s hand. Glory be to Him! So I am the disciple of the Holy Prophet Muhammad as well as his spiritual brother.” (Maktubat, Daftar III, letter no. 87, p. 209)

Would the non Ahmadi Muslims mock this great Mujadid as well now?The second part which the non Ahmadi Muslims accuse is the part that says that Allah is with Ahmad^as. This is also a baseless allegation. Allah has told us throughout the Holy Qur’an that he is with the believers. Allah States:

إِنْ تَسْتَفْتِحُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِنْ تَنْتَهُوا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تَعُودُوا نَعُدْ وَلَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {20}

If you sought a judgment, then judgment has indeed come to you. And if you desist, it will be better for you; but if you return to hostility, We too will return. And your party shall be of no avail at all to you, however numerous it be, and know that Allah is with the believers.(Chapter 8 Verse 20)

Allah Also States that He is with those who are patient. It is stated in the Qur’an:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ {154}

O ye who believe! seek help with patience and Prayer; surely, Allah is with the steadfast.(Chapter 2 Verse 154)

Allah also States that He is with the ones who do good deeds. It is stated in the Qur’an:

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ {70}

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good.(Chapter 29 Verse 70)

Moses^as also said that His Lord is with him:

قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ {63}

‘Nay, speak not thus!’ said he, ‘My Lord is with me. He will direct me aright.’(Chapter 26 Verse 63)

This shows that Allah helps those true believers and guides them. He assists them and accepts their prayers. In reality Allah does not have any helper, rather He only Asks s to be helpers in his cause as he states:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنْصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّينَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللَّهِ ۖ فَآمَنَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَتْ طَائِفَةٌ ۖ فَأَيَّدْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِينَ{15}

O ye who believe! be helpers of Allah, as said Jesus, son of Mary, to his disciples, ‘Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah.’ The disciples said, ‘We are helpers of Allah.’ So a party of the children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We gave power to those who believed against their enemy, and they became victorious.(Chapter 61 Verse 15)
